This is the second series of a project that can be controversial.
The challenge was to begin with an erotic image, or even pornographic, found in the internet, and manipulate it towards the abstraction.
The image is veiled but not completely hidden. A game of hide and seek is established with the viewer.
I could say that my goal is to connect in the same picture, eroticism and pornography, by one side, and the boundaries of abstraction, by the other side.
Can one transform a photograph that has an exclusive public in one artistic picture?
I´m acquainted with the work "Nudes" by the internationally renowned German photographer Thomas Ruff. One could say that the path has been the same. Though, Ruff got to very different results.
