By the river and near the sea

About my own photography, I usually say that I try to show what eyes can´t see.
In fact, that happens also in this project.
During a journey by boat, I was playing around with a telephoto lens, reducing the depth of field. It turned out that I became interested in getting a blurred closer object on a clear background – obviously, it is the opposite that most often occurs.
Using Photoshop, I added to the scene an artificial horizon line and different skies. – in fact, these came from photographs I had taken in other places, very far from the river, long time before. – Photography usually lies.
